Inspired by embered wood and the soft residue of ash, our name reflects the cycle of fire and warmth—what fuels it and what remains after. These elements turn a house into a home, and a moment into a memory.

We grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, near Lake Erie, where cold winters and fireplaces brought people together and long summer nights were spent around fires with those we love. In those moments, home wasn’t just a place—it was connection. But modern life moves too fast. Tasks pile up, days blur together, and homes become spaces we pass through instead of live in.
